Integrate multiple images of the same locating to increase resolution, bit depth and signal:noise ratio!
A digital image is inherently an imperfect representation of the real world -- the real entity being imaged has infinite resolution, color/bitdepth and signal:noise ratio. But all sampling methods (including digital imaging) have limited resolution, and sometimes an image does not capture enough data to be useful. Previously, if you couldn't go back and re-acquire the image, you were out of luck. But with PixelMatrix, if you have multiple images of the entity shot at approximately the same time, they can be combined into one super-image with qualities superior to any of the original images. PixelMatrix is perfect for imagery aquired from viedo security cameras. Camera mount jitter and slight movement of the subject actually work in your favor, contributing slight variations in each image that each capture extra detail.
PixelMatrix should be shipping within approximately 6 months, and will be available for Windows 2000/XP/Vista on 32-bit and 64-bit platforms.
